This manual has been produced in order to outline the minimum health and safety, standards that shall be required during construction work.  Furthermore the manual has been developed to give guidance and assistance to the respective Contractors in the development and production of their Site Safety Plans, to satisfy the required health and safety standards established by the Contract Conditions and the Employer’s Requirements. This manual represents the minimum standards required and each Contractor is encouraged to expand and improve upon it to minimize the risk to the health, safety and welfare of staff, visitors and others who may be required to work at height and to anyone affected by the work activities of a person working at height.
