Background

Indian Buildings Congress (IBC) was founded on 1st September 1992, when a Founders’ Meet was organised in New Delhi with the initiative of the then Director General (Works), CPWD, Shri O.P. Goel. About 250 professionals attended this meet. IBC was registered as a Society under the Societies Registration Act 1860, in New Delhi, on 29th March 1993. IBC has more than 130 Institutional Members, 6200+ Individual members and 286 Student Members at present. The wide spectrum of membership gives it a unique place in the entire gamut of Building engineering discipline and construction industry.

Headquarters

IBC has its headquarters in New Delhi and its office is located in Sector-VI, Kama Koti Marg, R.K. Puram, New Delhi, India.

Local Chapters

IBC encourages opening of Local chapters in different towns or cities to promote professional knowledge & acumen by interaction amongst the members of the chapter. Local chapters are operating in Aizawl, Agartala, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Goa, Guwahati, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Indore, Itanagar, Jaipur, Imphal, Jodhpur, Kolkata, Kota, Kohima, Mumbai, Patna, Port Blair, Raipur, Ranchi, Surat, Shillong, Thiruvananthapuram, Udaipur and Vijayawada.
